Product use

Gallium oxide is an inorganic compound, alias gallium trioxide, is the most stable oxide of gallium, is a wide band gap semiconductor, which has electrical conductivity and luminescent properties. Gallium oxide has two variants, α and β, α is white rhombohedral hexahedron and β-Ga2O3 belongs to monoclinic crystal. Ga2O3 can be dissolved in slightly hot dilute nitric acid, dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. The burned Ga2O3 does not dissolve in these acids or even concentrated nitric acid, nor in strong alkaline aqueous solution, but can only be dissolved by melting NaOH, KOH or KHSO4 and K2S2O7.

1)Used as a high voltage rectifier in power regulation and distribution systems, such as electric vehicles and photovoltaic solar systems;

2)It can be used to prepare gadolinium gallium garnet, catalysts, chemical reagents, etc., as raw materials for the preparation of Sr2CuGaO3S (rare square pyramidal gallium);

3)It can be used for insulating layer and ultraviolet filter of Ga-based semiconductor materials
